Throughout these years of working together at Santceloni, they earned numerous awards such as the 2 MICHELIN Stars and the 3 Repsol Suns. They also received, at a personal level, recognition that endorses their talent and excellent work. For Montse, some as highly sought after as the Torreblanca Prize for Best Pastry Chef (2016) and the Gran Prix au Chef Pâtissier (2019) from the International Academy of Gastronomy, and for Óscar the National Gastronomy Prize for the Best Head Chef (2007) granted by the Spanish Royal Academy of Gastronomy, the Chef l’Avenir award (2016) conferred by the International Academy of Gastronomy and that of Best Chef of the Year from the Madrid Fusion Congress (2006).

Now, after several years working on ideas and conceptualising their dream, they are undertaking together and alone a shared project: their own restaurant VelascoAbellà. Located in Madrid, VelascoAbellà is the place into which they have poured all of the experience accumulated over the course of their extensive and intense careers, but, above all, it is their home, that place where they welcome and cook for all those who visit them.

The apartment

The apartment is the name we give to this space that is located on the ground floor of our restaurant.

It’s a place for thinking, trying and experimenting, but it’s also a place for sharing.

With a fully equipped kitchen in this exclusive setting, we offer you the opportunity to organise your private event where your guests will be able to interact with our chefs and where meetings, presentations, celebrations or any other event you could imagine can take place, always accompanied by our best gastronomy.
